Wedding Ceremony
Notes
We are asking everyone to meet in the reception of the Marriott hotel between 2 and 2:15pm.
Weather permitting we will walk in procession to the London Eye check-in at 2:30. We want to leave plenty of time for lots of photos on the way without having to rush (I wonder what the tourists will think as we walk past them???)
If it rains (please no!) it will more than likely be a mad dash from the hotel to the Eye so we suggest guests arrive directly at the Fast Track & Private Capsule check-in at the back of the London Eye ticket hall by 2:45pm in preparation for the "flight" at 3:00pm.
Please ensure that you are on time - they will be stopping the Eye for us to board at 3 o'clock so if anyone is missing then I'm afraid we cannot wait!
As the capsules have a limited capacity we will be having two pods on the Eye so that we can accommodate more guests. Some guests will be in the pod in front of us and although they won't be able to hear us, they should still be able to see what's going on (and take lots of photos!). On our descent after the ceremony champagne and orange juice will be served in both pods.
Confetti isn't allowed on the Eye itself but can be thrown once we're off the platform and down in the park area.
When we "land" after our flight and have signed the Register there will be time for photos before we walk back to the hotel for the Wedding Breakfast in the Library.
Directions
The Fast Track & Private Capsule check-in is located at the rear of the ticket hall near the disabled entrance and can be seen on this map:
